Avon Council Advances Wants Public Input On Budget
Avon residents can review the FY26/27 budget online and comment before the town council's action in March.

AVON, CT — Residents who missed the recent budget work session of the Avon Town Council can review a recording of the meeting, department head presentations, and the full fiscal year 2026–2027 budget document recommended by the town manager on the town’s website.
The materials are available at the Town of Avon’s budget page.
Town officials are inviting public feedback on individual funding proposals or the overall budget.

Comments may also be made during the council’s March 5 regular meeting, either in person or via GoToMeeting, under the agenda item “FY 26/27 Budget Development.”
After reviewing the work session materials and public comments, the Town Council is expected to forward its recommended budget to the Avon Board of Finance later in March.

The Avon Board of Finance will hold its annual budget public hearing on April 6.
Following that hearing, the board will develop a recommended budget for consideration at the Annual Budget Meeting on May 4. A budget referendum is scheduled for May 13.
