Avon Creates New Webpage To Help Folks Help The Community

AVON, CT — The Town of Avon operates many departments whose aim is to help those in the community and, recently, local leaders made it easier for folks to help them out.

The town has set up a web page to provide information to those wishing to make donations to one or more town programs and services that assist Avon residents.

"Our residents’ willingness to help neighbors in need is one of the many things that makes the Avon community great," wrote the Town of Avon in a recent announcement.

Folks can visit www.avonct.gov/donate and consider donating to the Avon Food Pantry, the Avon Pet Pantry, the Avon Fuel Bank, the Avon Special Needs Funds, the Avon Senior Center, or the Avon Holiday Donation Program.
