Avon Establishment To Be First Self-Serve Taproom In State

AVON, CT — Tri-It Taproom is slated to open in the spring and will be the state's first self-pour taproom, according to The Hartford Courant. Self-serve alcohol businesses had been illegal until this year.

The taproom will include up to 44 different kinds of craft beers and wines. Digital technology will be installed to keep drinkers from overindulging, as a code will need to be scanned for each pour.
