AVON, CT — Local police are looking for a 17-year-old female from Avon, described as an "endangered runaway," who has been missing since late last week. According to a Silver Alert, issued at 11:48 p.m. Monday, Avon police are looking for Navneet Sahani, 17, who has black hair and brown eyes. Police said she stands 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs 105 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater and pink sweatpants, according to the alert, and has been missing since Sept. 8. Anyone with information on Sahani's whereabouts is asked to contact the Avon Police Department at 860-409-4200.
