Avon Gas Station Sells Winning Lotto Game To Windsor Locks Resident
The winner Thursday, June 20, stopped short of the maximum payout, but the winning dollar amount was still life-changing.
AVON/WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A scratch-off game player from Windsor Locks did not win the $1 million maximum prize Thursday at an Avon gas station.
But it is doubtful that person is complaining on Friday.
According to the Connecticut State Lottery Corp., the individual won $200,000 playing the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game, which was purchased at the Avon Citgo Station, 75 E. Main St.

While the player wasn't transformed into a millionaire, the winning ticket proved to be a nice investment for the $10 game.
