Avon Gas Station Sells Winning Lotto Ticket
The resident of Barkhamsted was playing the 'Hot Millions' game.
AVON, CT — A local gas station sold a pretty lucrative scratch-off Connecticut Lottery Corp. ticket on Friday, Oct. 27.
And, even though it fell far short of the $1 million maximum payout, the winner — who hails from the Riverton section of Barkhamsted — isn't complaining.
According to state lottery officials, the person won $25,000 playing the "Hot Millions" scratch-off game on Friday.
