AVON, CT — A local Girl Scout is working with the Avon Land Trust to help transform the trust's "Marge's Barn" site on Huckleberry Hill Road.

According to the trust, Prisha Jindal is looking to build a quarter-mile storyboard trail and children's outdoor creative area at the site.

The endeavor is part of Jindal's "Gold Award" project.

Both aspects of her project are designed to encourage families and young children to enjoy the outdoors and, perhaps, create lifelong outdoor recreation habits.
