Avon Group To Celebrate Local Diversity

AVON, CT — Avon's diverse community will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon at a local park — all with a fall flair.

Avon Friends for Equity is hosting its third annual Community Fest on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1-4 p.m. at the pavilion at Sycamore Hills Recreation Area.

The event will celebrate Avon's diverse community at Avon Public Schools, with "flavorful fall favorites" (cider and donuts), music and fun.

All APS students, families and staff are welcome.

"This has become a special annual event to celebrate a new school year, make new connections, and form friendships," wrote Avon Friends for Equity. "Let's keep coming together to strengthen our community."
