Avon High School Booster Club Ready for Annual Falcon 5K Road Race
The boosters recently completed a successful fund drive.
AVON, CT — Fresh off a successful fund-raising campaign, the Avon High School Booster Club is ready for the annual Falcon 5K Road Race.
The boosters hosted the annual Ticket Drive on Sunday, Sept. 25 with 132 student-athletes participating.
The community fund-raiser, brought in more than $9,400.

Next up for the club, is the popular Falcon 5k Road Race, scheduled for on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 8:15 a.m.
Runners of all ages and levels are invited to participate in the race, staged on a relatively flat 3.1-mile course. Non-runners are invited to cheer them on.
