Educational Ranking Has Avon High School In Top 10

AVON, CT— The town's high school is among the state's top 25 public high schools in Connecticut, according to a recently released ranking by an educational platform.

According to the online ranking system Niche, Avon High School was ranked the sixth best public high school in Connecticut.

AHS is located at 510 W. Avon Road.

Meanwhile, Avon Old Farms School, a private high school in town, was ranked the 23rd best private high school in Connecticut.

Several schools in Connecticut are among America’s best, according to rankings released Sept. 27 on the education platform Niche.

The new 2023 Best Schools and Districts rankings provide insight for parents on 92,743 public schools, 30,112 private schools and 11,820 school districts nationwide.
