Avon Lawmaker Hosting Energy Savings Forum

AVON, CT — This time of year, with lots of holiday commitments seemingly draining our collective bank accounts, the last thing anybody wants to deal with is increased energy costs.

On Thursday at the Avon Senior Center, a local lawmaker and a representative from the power company will host a special forum dedicated to keeping more money in our pockets, while also powering our busy lifestyles.

State Rep. Eleni Kavros Degraw, D-Avon, and Eversource representative Joanne Whistmant will meet with the public at the senior center, 635 W. Avon Road, Avon, to discuss ways residents can curb their energy bills.
