Avon Library Hosting Teen/Children's Book Sale
The free event will take place at the Avon Free Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 26.
AVON, CT — One week after the Avon Free Public Library's massive book sale for older readers, children and teens are now getting their day.
The Friends of the Avon Library is hosting a "Kids & Teen Book Sale"at the library on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It will take place at the library, which is located at 281 Country Club Road, Avon, and there is no admission fee.

The sale will feature a litany of children's picture books, hardcovers and paperbacks, along with tween and teen books/DVDs/CDs.
Event proceeds benefit the Friends of the Avon Library, which supports various programs and purchases for the library not covered in the budget.

No strollers are allowed inside the area where the sale is happening and all major credit cards will be accepted on book purchases.
