Avon Library to Show Classic Horror Films
A special series has been announced for the fall.
AVON, CT — A series of classic horror films will be presented at the Avon Free Public Library this fall.
The series is scheduled to begin with a showing of the original "Phantom of the Opera on Oct. 27.
That will be followed by "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" on Nov. 3, then "The Lady Vanishes on Nov. 10, and "Gaslight on Nov.

All films are slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be shown in the Community Room.
The Avon Free Public Library is located 281 Country Club Road.
