Avon Lions Club To Benefit From Event At Mexican Eatery

AVON, CT — A local civic group is the beneficiary of a major fund-raiser on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at an Avon Mexican restaurant.

The event will take place Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Puerta Vallarta Mexican restaurant in Avon, 15 W. Avon Road, Avon.

Proceeds will benefit the Avon Lions Club, which supports several national and local charitable causes.

It will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. that day for dine-in and take-out orders.

All customers have to do is mention the "Avon Lions Club" and 20 percent of the revenue raised will go to the club and its charitable endeavors.

Puero Vallarta specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine that is "prepared fresh daily."
