Avon Lions Hosting All-Day Benefit At Local Restaurant

AVON, CT — The Avon Lions Club is hosting a special fund-raiser at a local Mexican restaurant to benefit the civic organization and the causes it supports.

The event will occur on Thursday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Puerto Vallarta restaurant at 15 West Avon Road, Avon.

Puerto Vallarta specializes in "authentic, traditional Mexican cuisine prepared fresh daily."

A portion of that day's proceeds will go directly to the local Lions Club and the myriad causes benefitting from the club's activities.

Donations will come from all dine-in and take-out orders while the restaurant is open that day.
