Avon Obituary: Deborah Butt, 87

Deborah G. Butt 87, of Avon, widow of Leonard A. Butt, passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2017.

Born in New Rochelle, NY, January 28, 1929 the daughter of the late David Giles and Mildred Pinkham Giles. Deborah was a graduate of Green Mountain College, VT and was a longtime member of the West Avon Congregational Church. She enjoyed her time at Farmington Woods, a member of 9 Holer Golf League, playing paddle tennis and tennis and many good times with her large group of friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Kaiser and husband Calvin of Newington, her daughter, Lauren Ravalese of Avon, her four grandchildren, Alexander Kaiser, Amanda, Kelly and Michael Ravalese, her sister, Nancy Breckinridge and husband Robert of Hilton Head, SC and her dear friends Eileen McKeon and the late Robert Hannah.

The family would like express their gratitude to the nurses and caregivers at Arden Courts in Farmington for the wonderful care given to Debbie over the past year.

Funeral services will be private.
