Avon Obituary: Dorothy Hutchinson, 89

Dorothy Margaret ”Peggy” Hutchinson, 89, formerly of Avon, passed to her eternal rest on February 23, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. She was with her family at the time of her peaceful passing. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest C. Hutchinson.

Peggy was born on March 24, 1928 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania to James J. and Dorothy (Downing) Clarke. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved gardening and cooking.

Peggy is survived by her two sons, Eric C. Hutchinson and E. Jeffery Hutchinson and his wife Karin, and her five grandchildren Evan, Claire, Joseph, Amy and Robert; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held, where Peggy will be buried next to her loving husband in the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
