Avon Obituary: Eileen Berube, 88

Condolences to her family and friends.

Eileen M. “Lee” Berube, of Avon, widow of Raymond C. Berube, passed away Friday March 2nd.

Born in Brookline, Mass February 18, 1930, daughter of the late John and Janet (Cable) DeCastro. During her career, Lee was Vice President of several companies: Key Productions, WOWW Radio and The Laconia News in Laconia, New Hampshire. She also enjoyed a successful career in Sales and Marketing at Comcast in Middletown.

She is survived by her four children, Alan R. Berube and his wife Linda of Plainville, and Bruce R. Berube in Idaho, Colleen R. Rose of Bristol and Janet M. Lamontagne and her husband Keith of Lighthouse Point Florida, her longtime partner Thomas R. Pantaleo of Avon, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her beloved son David. C. Berube.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home 111 Main Street, Rt. 4 Unionville on Wednesday (Mar 7) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Thursday (March 8) at 9:15 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Ann in Avon at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the family plot in East Cemetery in Manchester.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
