Avon Obituary: Helen Fanning

Helen F. Fanning passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. Helen was a long time resident of Avon, thereafter resided at Brookdale (The Gables) in Farmington for 9 years and recently moved to Southington Care Center.

Born on April 2, 1918 in Washington, CT, the daughter of the late Michael and Teresa (Mulqueen) Fanning. Helen was employed for many years as an executive secretary by The Hartford.

Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Clare T. Fanning and Mary M. Fanning.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM in The Church of St. Patrick, Farmington. Burial will be in the Washington Green Cemetery in Washington, CT at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Bidwell Square, Unionville, CT 06085.
