Avon Obituary: Holly Pullis, 73

Holly Anne Jackson Pullis, 73, of Farmington, wife of the late Raymond A. Pullis, passed away November 18, 2017.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 25, 1944, daughter of the late Wayne “Jack” and Monique (Hansell) Jackson, she was a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Holly was a care specialist at Favarh of Avon. She also dedicated her time to the Fresh Air Fund, was a member of First Church of Christ in Farmington, Valley Baptist Church in Avon where she worked in childcare. She also volunteered for many years at Newington Children’s Hospital, UConn Hospital along with volunteering at Union Elementary School for over 15 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Jenny Brown Pullis of Farmington, Emily Pullis of Collinsville, her grandson Nicholas Proulx of Farmington, her step children Chris Pullis of Farmington, David Pullis of Vermont, and Diane Pullis Sly of Michigan along with their extended families. She is preceded in death by her sister Shelley Jackson Denham and her brother David Jackson.

The Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6-7:30 pm at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St, Rt., 4, Unionville with Barbara Backman officiating.
