
Sheila Terese O’Hagan Jadovich, of Avon, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2017. She has gone from our home, but not from our hearts.
Born July 11, 1933 in Yonkers, NY. Daughter of the late Francis Joseph and Eveline Veronica (McGlinchey) O’Hagan, originally of Belfast and Warrenpoint, County Down, Northern Ireland.
Sheila lived in Hartford for many years before moving to Avon with her husband, Edward J. Jadovich, originally of Farmington. She was a member of The Church of St. Ann, RCC in Avon and the Avon Senior Citizens. She retired from the Ensign-Bickford Company and Hoffman Honda/Toyota.

She is survived by her four beloved children, their spouses and her grandchildren: son David Allen Jadovich of Avon, and her four dear grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Caroline and Elizabeth. Daughter Judith Ann (Jadovich) and her husband Robert Howland of Collinsville. Son Andrew Joseph and his wife Michele (Sass) Jadovich of Simsbury, and her four adored grandchildren, Austin Edward, Rhyan Elizabeth, Cody Andrew and Tanner James. Her Daughter Patricia Anne (Jadovich) and her husband Scott Cheyne, and of course, her granddog, “My Marley”, of Tierra Verde, FL and Chatham, MA. She also leaves her sister and “best friend”, Evelyn O’Hagan of Avon, and her children, John, James, Jeffrey, Jennifer and their children. Her late brother and his family, John G. O’Hagan, Dorothea of Enfield and their children, Evelyn, David, Diane, Francis and Marian and their families. Her sister Frances Peterson of Unionville and her son Timothy. She also leaves her brother in law Michael Bombara of Avon, and his children, Katherine, Christopher, and their families. Lastly, she will miss her large and very loved family across the U.S. and in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Jadovich, her beloved parents and her two cats, Murphy (who was loved for 18 years and “who I miss and love still”) and Spike.

She leaves her dear Dunkin’ Donuts buddies: Beverly Gagne, Beverly Rydberg, Judith Dowden, Marion Dalka, Al and Carol Quartiero, Marion “Boston” Steinberg, Joan Aiello, Helen Walton, Lori Miller and the late Marilyn Gadzik, “I will miss you all”; and the DD crew, Owen, Rich, Adam, Adam, Sam and Jen.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy in The Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Rd, Avon at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Ann Cemetery, Avon.
