Thomas “Tommy” Grigerik, 63, of Avon, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday March 7th.
Tommy was born January 31, 1955 in Hartford. Tommy was predeceased by his parents Joseph J. Grigerik and Gladys (Benoit) Grigerik of Avon. He was a 1973 graduate of Avon High School where he excelled in baseball and basketball. He worked 28 dedicated years for the United Parcel Service.
Tommy was most proud of being a dedicated father to his two boys. Tommy’s joys were playing, coaching and watching sports, discussing current events with friends and family, gardening and being a loving and dedicated pet owner to his beautiful German Shepherd, Halie.

Tommy is survived by his two sons Thomas “TJ” Grigerik of Avon and Joshua Grigerik of Granby, granddaughter Summer Grigerik, siblings Robyn, Joseph, Judy and Janet, his longtime partner Pati McCormick, brother-in-law Geoff, niece Kaylee and nephew Johnny.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
