Avon Police Officer Makes Track-and-Field Comeback

It’s never too late to make a comeback.

Avon Police Officer Susan Kassey, 52, did track-and-field in high school until she was 15-years-old and her father died, according to the Hartford Courant.

She saw that there was a masters track-and-field competition last year and decided to train and sign-up.

Now she is ranked fifth nationally in er age group in the 55-meter dash , according to USA Track and Field.
