Avon Police Warn Of 'Assassins' Water Gun Game

The annual rite for Avon High School seniors is a game of 'tag' utilizing water toys, police said.

AVON, CT — Local police this week issued a community warning about an annual game played by Avon High School seniors.

Called "Assisins," this, according to the APD, is basically a game of "tag" but with water guns.

"This game entails participants to run around with water guns, essentially playing a large game of tag," wrote police in a statement Tuesday. "Please know this game is not sanctioned or condoned by the school or police department."
