A wonderful brunch on the patio. Arrange a table with Spring flowers, white linens and these simple yet delicious items, available at our Prepared Foods section. Broccoli Cheddar Quiche, Smoked in House Bacon, Hartford Baking Co bread and local Jams from Winding Drive, Strawberries and Lime Bars & Vanilla Waffles (frozen section).  
A walk in the Park. There are so many beautiful places to go with Mom, like Kent Falls, Elizabeth Park,  Hublein Tower, Hillstead Museum and many others in our wonderful State of Connecticut. Prepare a beautiful basket for Mom with Sandwiches from our Deli. Call ahead and we'll have them ready for your family to enjoy! Or make your own picnic basket, here are some themes for Mom to enjoy: 
Mediterranean (all available at our Deli): Humus and Pita Chips, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Couscous Salad, Sweet Curry Chicken Salad. Don't forget to bring a cooler with Ice Cream or Gelato in her favorite flavors!
Picnic Style: Bring Boars' Head meats and cheese & bread to make your own sandwiches. Great sides available on our prepared section would be: Red Potato Salad, Orzo Salad, Tortellini Salad. Access to a grill? Bring our new Chicken Tips, available in several Marinades and perfect to grill and toss over spring greens. 
Italian: Bring different Salami, Cheese from around the world, crackers, spreads and Olives to feel like you are in a Tuscan Village. Complement with our Orzo Salad or Tomato & Mozzarella. 
Cozy and Memorable Diner at Home?
Dazzle her: Lobster & Filet Mignon Dinner. Ask our staff for cooking cards to make this amazing dinner for mom. Set candles, her favorite music and cook the Filet Mignon to perfection using our guides. Mom will certainly feel the love! Great sides for this would be our Marinated Asparagus or Burgundy Wine Mushrooms from our Prepared Section.
