Avon Releases Update On COVID Test Distribution

AVON, CT — We expect to have the COVID-19 Self Test Kits today (Monday). We do not know the exact number of kits we will receive but expect it to be close to the number originally ordered. The Town has also retrieved a supply of N 95 masks. Once we have the kits in our possession, we will post an update on the distribution plan. Tentatively, the plan is to distribute these supplies from 4-7 p.m. at the Department of Public Works located at 11 Arch Road tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/4). Again, we will post a confirmation notice of this plan as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.
