Avon restaurateur to participate in Collinsville Hot

During the day-long Collinsville Hot event on Saturday, July 25, Lisa’s Crown & Hammer Restaurant & Pub, 3 Depot St., Collinsville, owned by Avon resident Lisa Maurer, will serve beer from kegs and wine from a wine bar on their outdoor deck from noon until 10 p.m. During that time, $1 of every beer sold will be donated to the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance (CTBTA). The restaurant is also selling food at the event’s outdoor food court. Collinsville Hot features entertainment, an artisans fair, food, a chalk walk competition, a dog photo contest, yoga and children’s activities capped by a water fire display from 8:30 to 10 p.m.
