Avon School Staffer Placed on Leave

AVON, CT — Superintendent of Schools Gary Mala on Tuesday told a group of Thompson Brook School parents a school employee has been placed on administrative leave with pay while the staffer's recent activities are reviewed, the Hartford Courant reported.

Mala, however, did not mention directly reports of a teacher posting inappropriate material on social media sites seen by students, according to the story.
