Avon Scout Can And Bottle Drive To Be Held Aug. 29

Avon Scout Troop 274 will hold a can and bottle drive Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 8 a.m. to noon at West Avon Congregational Church, located at 280 Country Club Road. Friendly and courteous Scouts will unload your redeemable cans and bottles from your vehicle and even sort them for you! All proceeds directly benefit Scouts who are traveling to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico next summer, as well as participating in other scouting activities and camp outs throughout the year.
