Avon Survey Seeks Advice On Recreational Offerings

AVON, CT — Who doesn't love to play?

The Avon community has plenty of places to enjoy a little recreation time, but the town is looking ahead to how it can improve its parks and recreation offerings via the "Avon Recreation & Parks Master Plan."

In an effort toward that means, the town has set up an online public survey for residents to convey their opinions as part of that process.

It is available through Feb. 29 online.

On Feb. 5, the town hosted a forum on the topic at the Avon Free Public Library's community room on the topic.

The town's recreation/parks plan is not a binding document, but it is a blueprint for current and future town leaders regarding what the community wants out of its parks and recreation offering
