Avon Seeks Local Pictures Showing Off The Town's Splendor

AVON, CT — The Town of Avon is seeking submissions from local photographers for use in municipal communications, officials announced.

The call invites residents to contribute images that reflect the character of the community, including “seasons, landscapes, landmarks, flora and fauna, community spirit or anything else that showcases the best of Avon,” according to the notice.

Selected photos may appear on the town’s website, social media platforms, and in print publications.

Photographers whose work is used will receive credit “whenever practical.”

Submissions must include the photographer’s name, email address, phone number, a title for the image, and acknowledgment of a media release.
