Avon Seeks Photographers For Scenic Photo Push

AVON, CT — If you have a gift for capturing the perfect image with any picture-taking device, the Town of Avon needs your help.

Local leaders recently put out a call for area photographers to show off their skills by capturing the images of Avon's landmarks.

Those pictures will then feature on the Town of Avon's website, social media accounts, and in town print publications.

A similar effort earlier this year produced a good response, town officials said.

"We received some really great photos this past spring from several photographers," wrote Avon officials in a release.

"Again, we are looking to create perspectives on the seasons, landscapes, landmarks, flora and fauna, community spirit, or anything else that showcases the best of Avon."

The town has set up a portal where participants can upload photos for future use at www.avonct.gov/photo-call.
