Avon/Farmington Youths Sought To Sing At America 250 Event
Avon and Farmington children ages 7-12 can join a free youth choir and perform on June 26. Registration closes Friday, June 5.

AVON/FARMINGTON — The Avon Recreation and Parks Department is inviting children ages 7 to 12 to join the Community Voices Youth Choir, a free summer program that will culminate in a performance during the Avon & Farmington 250 Celebration on June 26.
The choir is open to youths from Avon and Farmington interested in singing and will perform an original song, “We Stand,” as part of the anniversary event.
The program will be led by Michael Lamb of Performing Arts Programs.

Organizers describe the choir as an opportunity for children to participate in a community-wide celebration marking the 250th anniversary of Avon and Farmington.
Registration is free, but enrollment closes Friday, June 5.
