'AvonCon' Logo Contest Winners Announced
The 2024 edition of 'AvonCon' will take place in April at the Avon Free Public Library.

AVON, CT — The local library has released the winners of its logo contest hosted in connection with a rather unique event coming up in April.
Saturday, the Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon, announced the winners of its logo contest done in conjunction with "AvonCon 2024," which will take place in April.

In a similar vein to state, regional, and national "cons" that celebrate so-called "geek culture," namely anime, comics, sci-fi/fantasy entertainment, and cosplaying, "AvonCon" will take place April 27 at the library.
Prior to that event, however, the library hosted a logo contest to best showcase the event.

All of the entries will be on display at AvonCon on the second floor of the children's section on Saturday, April 27.
The Friends of the Avon Library supported the AvonCon Logo contest.
