AVON, CT — The latest edition of the local historical society's monthly podcast takes a look at one of Avon's more prominent social-civic organizations in the community.

The October edition of "Avon Talks," the podcast from the Avon Historical Society, is about Prince Thomas of Savoy.

Local historians/podcasters Chris Cody and Paul Rotondo will introduce the Prince Thomas of Savoy Italian social club, its over century-long history, and its role within the Avon, Farmington Valley, and Connecticut communities.
