The Avon High School Booster Club and the family of Richard Migli (AHS Class of 1970) are pleased to report that the 23rd Annual Richard Migli Golf Tournament was a tremendous success. The event, held at The Golf Club of Avon, was made possible by longtime title sponsor Northwest Community Bank, and many generous business and community donors.

A record 102 golfers hit the links at this year’s Migli Tournament and an additional 50 diners joined them afterwards for dinner where, with the help of NBC Connecticut’s meteorologist Bob Maxon, guests enjoyed a high-spirited live auction. In all, this year’s tournament raised $23,800.00 which will fund scholarships for exceptional Avon High School student-athletes.

Summers led the Falcon athletic department for 38 years, including the four during which Dick Migli attended the school.
