Bear Knocks On Door For Brownies

A black bear showed up on an Avon back porch and knocked on a sliding door as brownies just came out of the oven.

AVON, CT — A bear apparently likes the back porch at a home in the bear capital of Connecticut. And the homeowner's baking skills.

A resident of Stagecoach Road in Avon shared images of a black bear knocking on the sliding door last week with WFSB.

The homeowners told a friend of WFSB Anchor Dennis House she thought it might be the smell of fresh brownies that attracted the bear.
