Body Found In Avon Garage That Caught Fire: Police
A man's body was found in a garage that was on fire Tuesday morning.

AVON, CT — A man's body was found in a garage that caught fire Tuesday, according to a police statement. Firefighters responded to the call at 43 Far Hills Drive at 7:40 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke exiting the three-bay garage. They quickly knocked down the blaze and prevented it from spreading to the rest of the home. However, the home has smoke damage.
A man was found dead in the garage. No one else was home at the time of the fire.

The Avon Fire Marshal's Office, State Fire Marshal's Office, State Police Fire Investigative Unit, and the Avon Police Patrol & Detective units are at the scene.
The man has not been identified. The case is under investigation.
