Join us today and make a difference in our community. The Avon Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for new members and welcomes everyone to an open house — Rain or Shine — at its Company firehouse at 490 West Avon Road on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

🧯 Try your hand at using a fire hose
🧑🚒 Talk with our volunteer firefighters
There will be plenty to do for both kids and adults and we will be serving grilled hot dogs.
Parking is available at the firehouse, with additional parking at Avon High School.
