Clemson University, Clemson SC

• A pair of Avon residents have been named to the spring 2018 President's List at Clemson University.
  They are Jennifer C. Greenfield, who is majoring in Marketing, and Katherine Effie Lombard, who is majoring in Biological Sciences. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
• Two Avon residents have been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the spring 2018 semester. They are Robert Bujwid, who is majoring in Financial Management, and Sean P. Neagle, who is majoring in Economics. To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Sophia Hebert, an Ithaca College student from Avon, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

Merrimack College, North Andover MA

• Octavia Rossini of Avon was named to the Merrimack College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Haley King of Avon, who is in the new media design program, made the Dean's List for the spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• A total of 11,347 students enrolled during the 2018 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). Students from Avon named to these lists include Quintin Haines, President's List; Martin C. Shelton, Dean's List; Erin Cathleen Sherman, President's List; and Cole A. Zelazny, Dean's List.
