On Campus - Avon College Students

AVON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Cedarville University, Cedarville OH

• Alexandra McDonald of Avon was named to the Dean's Honor List at Cedarville University. McDonald maintained a 3.75 GPA in the 2018 spring semester, while taking at least 12 credit hours from Cedarville University.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Two Avon residents were among more than 890 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Lisa M. Crivelli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy, and Brandon Jeffrey Feinberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Kate Goldberg and Tal Saidon, both of Avon, have been named to the University of Vermont Dean's List for spring 2018. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
