Manchester Community College, Manchester CT

• James LaReau of Avon has been named to the dean's list at Manchester Community College for the spring 2018 semester. Full-time students enrolled in 12 credits or more and who have earned a GPA of 3.4 with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in that semester are eligible for the Dean’s List. Part-time students are eligible for recognition with the same criteria when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher. They may be subsequently recognized at successive 12-credit intervals.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named Grace Whalen of Avon to the dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2018 term. Whalen is studying Health Science. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.
