Celebrate Avon's Culinary Scene At 2nd 'Restaurant Week'
Avon Restaurant Week runs Feb. 20–28 with special menus, a Thursday, Feb. 19, Sip & Savor kickoff, and America250 tributes.
AVON, CT — Avon Restaurant Week will return for its second year from Feb. 20–28, with participating restaurants across town offering special menus and dishes created for the event.
The weeklong promotion begins with a Sip & Savor kickoff event from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Avon Old Farms Hotel Towpath Ballroom.
Organizers said the kickoff will feature live music, a raffle to benefit the Avon Food Bank, and a competition among local restaurants for Best Appetizer and Best Cocktail.

Tickets for Sip & Savor are available through the event website.
This year’s restaurant week also includes a tribute to America250, the national commemoration of the United States’ 250th anniversary.

Participating chefs will introduce “Avon250”-inspired dishes highlighting American heritage, Connecticut traditions, and diverse culinary influences.
