Changes Made to Avon Mobile Foodshare Location

The location of the mobile Foodshare truck in Avon has changed, reports the Hartford Courant.

The mobile pantry will be at the Farmington Valley American Muslim Center at 35 Harris Road every other Tuesday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. The pantry will next be at the center on June 30.

Previously, the mobile pantry had been at Saint Ann Church and the switch was made in May.

Foodshare is a Bloomfield-based non-profit that helps stock food pantries in the Hartford area.
