Chill Out At Avon Library Meditation Event This Week

Avon Free Public Library offers a free virtual meditation program to be hosted by a meditation expert.

AVON, CT — The Avon Free Public Library will host a virtual program on meditation and wellness on Thursday, March 26, at 7 p.m., featuring speaker Nirav Sheth.

The event, titled “Meditation for Healing and Peace,” will explore how meditation can support personal well-being and help participants incorporate the practice into daily life.

Organizers said the session will include an overview of meditation techniques as well as a brief guided meditation.

Sheth, a leadership and life coach, is the founder and president of Stratosphere, a coaching and consulting firm.

He previously spent 25 years in the medical device industry, including leadership roles at Medtronic.

He holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering and has practiced meditation for more than 17 years, teaching classes nationwide for over a decade.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration details are available through the library.
