Clementines Studio Opening soon in Avon

Clementines Studio is a brand new children’s activity and learning center in Avon, CT. They will be offering a kindergarten readiness program, manners classes, acting and improv classes, Spanish classes, kids yoga and more. Clementines Studio will be opening for all classes the first week in April.

Simsbury residents Kristin Pomeroy, Erica Lubonta and Monica Quiroga started Clementines as a place for children to learn and grow. “At Clementines Studio, we believe that a child’s success and growth come from hands-on learning with plenty of encouragement and enthusiasm.” These three teachers focus on nurturing children’s unique creative expression. The classes at Clementines Studio teach valuable skills for life such as “Shining Stars” Manners program, which give children the tools to act appropriately in social situations as well as showing respect for those around them (even at home). Acting classes help them find their voice and is valuable for public speaking situations. It also boosts confidence to participate fully in school and other social interactions. Spanish is offered starting at the preschool level to give children the building blocks they need to grasp language during the most opportune years when it can be most easily absorbed. Clementines offers many more classes including a Kindergarten Readiness class that will prepare 3-5 year olds for the rigors of a full day Kindergarten program.

Clementines Studio will be hosting a free open house on Saturday March 28th from 1:00pm- 3:00pm.

Bring your children to take part in free activities, meet the teachers, have some refreshments, and enter their drawing for a $50 gift certificate. All attendees who register for classes at the open house will receive a discount.
