Bates College, Lewiston ME
- Rachael Rosow, of Avon, graduated Cum Laude after majoring in psychology and biology at Bates. Rosow, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Rosow of Avon, is a 2014 graduate of Avon High School. Rosow was inducted into the Bates Scholar-Athlete Society, an organization which honors graduating seniors who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or have received special nomination from the faculty for outstanding academic achievement in their junior and senior years, and who have participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of three years.
Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD

- Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2018 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
Students from Avon who have achieved this honor and indicated that Loyola can release their directory information are Kelly DelGallo, class of 2018; Ryan Miller, class of 2020; and Justin Nastri, class of 2020.
