Committee to Explore Options for New Avon High School Athletic Complex

AVON, CT - A committee will be formed to oversee design of a new multi-purpose athletic complex at Avon High School, the Collinsville Press reported.

The Avon Town Council will appoint the committee to look into such options as synthetic turf playing surfaces, a new track, a press box and a public address system.

Committee members will include residents of the neighborhood bordering the high school and a member of the Avon Booster Club, the Press said.
