Covid Vax Clinic Set At Avon Library Friday
The free vaccine clinic is for those aged 6 months and older.
AVON, CT — Covid-19 is now no longer considered the menace it was when the pandemic was raging in 2020-21.
But it doesn't mean folks should avoid getting regular vaccines.
On Friday, May 12, the Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon, is offering updated booster shots for Covid and free health screening.

And all folks have to do is just walk right in. No appointments needed.
The event will take place from 12:30 to 4 p.m., according to an announcement from the town.

The clinic is for all ages 6 months and older.
Participants are asked to bring a health insurance card and photo ID if they have them, but it is not necessary to have health insurance or ID to receive the vaccine.
"No one will be turned away for the lack of insurance or ID," wrote the town in an announcement.
