Dads, What Are the Father's Day Hot Spots in Avon?

It seems like just yesterday that it was Mother's Day and we can't forget about another very important day – Father's Day.

Avon Patch has some suggestions for where to take Dad in town for his special day. However, we'd also like to hear from the men of honor themselves.

• : Being a dad is an all-year cycle! There are also two new bike stores in Avon: and .
• : If not for the pizza originally hailing from Stamford, the new Avon restaurant has a rare German beer draft system and frosted rails to keep your drinks cold.
• : The Avon breakfast and lunch staple is run by Dads!
• : Kick the soccer ball around, throw some baseballs or have a picnic.
• : Summer reading is starting, so the new and improved library is a good family-friendly spot. In addition to books, they have a larger DVD and Blu-Ray collection now. There's also a "beach reads booksale" at 10 a.m., hosted by the Friends of the Avon Library.
• : The pool's open again. The weather's supposed to be in the high 70s and sunny in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, so it may be good weather for a dip.
